A little about me... Hello, my name is Shaune. I spent my formative years taking things apart to see how they worked. Occasionally, I even put them back together again correctly. My Father taught me that you can not say "I don't know how to do "something", because you have not tried yet.

As an adult my woodworking journey started like many peoples. I had Purchased my first house and had so much to learn. Diving right in, I paid a contractor to rip off the roof and build a 3/4 shed dormer on my small cape style home. Once he completed the shell I tackled the rest, from framing out rooms to wiring all the electrical, I learned all that I could.

I truly started woodworking journey after my wife and I purchased a small 7x14' v-nose trailer to transport our motorcycle across country. I began building out the bed, cabinets, electrical and plumbing in the trailer, once again putting my skill to the test.  What I found from this process was a real loved of working with my hands and more specifically working with wood. Shortly after our first trip SD Works was born.

It has been an amazing journey.
